The XRP Community
The XRP community has one of the most diverse communities (in terms of occupation) in the crypto community itself. Most of the community members are mostly based on X (Twitter), Youtube, and Instagram. Some of the well known member in Youtube are Mickle and Lewis Jackson, and in X is @JoelKatz and @bgarlinghouse. During the legal dispute between Ripple and SEC, they are a lot of attorney and lawyer that have been giving the a guidance in term of the law for the XRP community. Some of the most well known attorney and lawyers from the XRP community are Attorney Deaton (John E Deaton) and Lawyer Jeremy Hogan.
In my opinion, Brad Garlinghouse (Ripple CEO), David Schwartz (Ripple CTO), Stuart Alderoty ( Chief Legal Officer) and all the Ripple executive team and board of directors leadership and guidance for the XRP community during the legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC deserve a lot of praise and a standing ovation. The XRP community itself deserve a lot of praise because of the extreme patience and courage that they have in depending XRP from all the FUD that was spread by the XRP haters during the legal dispute.
The Riddler
The most complicated and mysterious figures in the XRP community, The Riddler. The Riddler is a bunch of X (Twitter) accounts that post a lot of cryptic images, message (sometimes in number, a word or a sentence and a sequence of number and words) on their accounts and most of that post sometimes related to real life event that happen on XRP or real world event. The weirdest part is that all of that post was made before that event happened in real life. There is no official date when the Riddler first activity on X, but they start to gain attention for the XRP community around 2019 and 2020.
Some people say that The Riddle is an insider person who knew a lot of information about XRP itself, and some say they are just normal people who just post that kind of post as merely a joke. Some of the most well-known Riddler are Mr. Pool, Beareableguy123, and reverse Beareableguy123 (123yugelbaeraeb). Most of them still usually post except for Mr. Pool, who deleted his account in September 2023 (You can still find Mr. Pool account, but that is not the ‘real’ Mr.Pool). Real or not, the Riddler will always be the unsolved mystery that plays a large part in the XRP community.
Conclusion
XRP does give a lot of utility values inside and outside the crypto sphere, and most of the Ripple Labs work in growing their connections between institutions to utilize XRP in their payment system and further prove this point. On the other hand, the XRP community works in depending on XRP from all the FUD that was spread by XRP haters deserve a lot of applause. So, to the XRP community, do me a favour, give yourself a pat on the back, and enjoy ‘The Proper Party’ to the fullest. Your guys deserve it.
